In the Press

As settings for music festivals go, a field overlooking Holy Island has got to be up there. Add in a cracking line up; a collection of smiley caterers offering a variety of treats for the tummy, a buzzy beer tent; and a few thousand people who have assembled with the collective aim of having a belting time, and you’ve got yourself a pretty wonderful way to spend the weekend.

The Chronicle

Set your thrill-o-meter to “Stunning” and gird yourself for one of our very favourite festivals being held anywhere in the UK this year... Taking place on the most beautiful stretch of coastline in the country, with the spectacular backdrop of Holy Island, it was the perfect venue for an eclectic line-up that ranged from top bands to up and coming local acts to DJs to off-the-wall stuff and more.

The Crack

Don’t let the scenic views of Holy Island and eclectic selection of music be the only thing to coax you in; Lindisfarne will also host a range of workshops, street performers, independent food markets, evening bonfires, a BBC Introducing stage featuring a stonking list of local talent, comedy and poetry and even a glamping area if the thought of getting caked in mud makes you quiver in your wellies.

NARC Magazine

What Lindisfarne lacks in scale in comparison to mammoth festivals like Glasto, Leeds and Reading it makes up for in variety. To label Lindisfarne a ‘music festival’ along with the rest of them would be tremendously inaccurate. Despite boasting over 100+ incredible musical acts over the long weekend, Lindisfarne also had a wealth of other exciting things going on. From comedy shows to laughter yoga and meditation; Lindisfarne 2017 was a festival like no other.

Gigs North East

Lindisfarne Festival was a resounding success, thanks to some inspired artist choices, incredible performances by said artists, wonderful, friendly staff and volunteers, great food, and most importantly, a stunning setting. Book your tickets early for next year, I have a feeling they’ll be flying off the shelves.
