Wow! There has been so many great entries submitted from brilliant up & coming bands from around the UK. From the tip of Scotland to the deep, deep South - we've absolutely loved checking out all the nominated bands and we'll certainly be baring many in mind for our lineup in future years of Lindisfarne Festival. However, there can only be one winner for our 2017 unsigned band competition and the decision is out of our hands.

Who will will a slot on the main stage of Lindisfarne Festival 2017? The finalists have been chosen (by Musicians Against Homelessness patron Alan McGee)! Now it's down to YOU to cast your vote, spread the word and decide who will be warming up the stage for our headliners The View on Friday 2nd September...

Meet the finalists...


With their biting guitar-¬≠riffs and boyish charm, Alibi welcome a vast and mixed audience, stating their influences among The Black Keys, The Libertines, Spring King and The Smiths. Hailing from Hastings, their tight vocals and strong stage presence have seen them gain momentum beyond the South East. 



Shambolics are a 4 piece 'Dreamy Rock & Roll' band inspired by the best guitar based music from the 50s onwards. Taking influence from all sorts of genres Shambolics base themselves on 1970's harmonies, 1980's clean guitar chimes and 1990's melodic anthems.


SUPA & Da Kryptonites

SUPA & Da Kryptonites are a 9 piece Funk, Ska, Reggae, Soul, Hip-Hop, Swing and Grime Band from Edinburgh. With their high energy, a tight 4 piece horn section, soulful female vocals and an emcee who demands a right ole knees up... 


The Boston Shakers

Originally from France & the US, electronic rock band The Boston Shakers are now based in the UK. With big MPC beats, wailing guitars and captivating raps served "on the rocks", they are a cocktail of good vibrations you won't get enough of.


The Winachi Tribe

The Winachi Tribe are 'Manchester's' Electro Funk Sonic Soul Collective, mixing genres such as Electro Funk, Acid House, Rock, Hip Hop to make The Winachi sound.
